Frequently Asked Questions

Where do I find a list of National Leadership Training Workshops?

You must first create an account at www.cisvuniversity.org before the list of training workshops will be visible to you under the header called “Training Workshops”. When you create an account be sure to select a log-in and password that you will remember as you may need to return to the site again.

At www.cisvuniversity.org go to the header marked “Your Account” and select “Forgot my password” from the listing in the drop down menu. Follow instructions to have your password e-mailed to you.

I can’t remember my log in. What should I do?

Send a message to webmaster@cisvusa.org">webmaster@cisvusa.org asking for help in identifying your log in or try creating a new account making special note of your log in and password.

I can’t find the link on the CISV University site to complete my role-specific Training Readiness Assessment Tool (TRAT) before my National Leadership Training Workshop.

The link to your role-specific TRAT is in the information listed under “Your Registrations” once you have successfully registered for a workshop. If you don’t see it, please contact the National Leadership Training Chair and you will be sent a hard copy of the role-specific TRAT which you can complete and bring with you to the training workshop for scoring there.

I want to complete the role-specific Training Readiness Assessment Tool (TRAT) online. Is that possible?

If you have not been able to locate the link to your role specific TRAT through viewing “Your Registrations” in the drop-down menu under Training Workshops, you can still complete the TRAT online by returning to www.cisvuniversity.org and registering for the TRAT Make-Up Workshop. You would need to complete all the fields in the registration process as you did when you registered for the regular training workshop. A Complete Training Readiness Assessment Tool (TRAT) link will appear in the “Welcome” message immediately following your successful registration for the TRAT Make-Up Workshop. Click on it to be taken to your TRAT.

I took the TRAT but I never saw the list of questions I got wrong. How do I know what I got wrong?

After you hit the “Submit” button at the bottom of the list of TRAT questions a page will come up with a message about the questions you missed and the incorrect answer you supplied. In addition to identifying the questions you answered incorrectly, the report cites the Chapter in the Local Leadership Training Manual where the correct answer can be found.

Can I change the answers on my TRAT without logging off and logging back in?

You can correct answers for your TRAT by using the back button in your browser to move back and forth between the report and the TRAT. You must hit “submit” each time you change your answers for a new report to be generated and displayed.

I took the TRAT but I never saw my score. When can I find out my score?

If you received a “Congratulations! You passed!” message you received a 95% or better score. You must receive a score of 95% or better to be considered passing. The National Trainers at your Workshop will share your final TRAT score with you if you wish.
